The short answer

TAXFINAI combines Tax Workflow for US return tracking, estimated payments, recurring obligations and team WIP, with Close Review for QuickBooks review workpapers. Your team keeps its tax and accounting tools, checks the supporting information and makes the professional decisions. A demonstration on sample data can focus on one workspace or the coordination between both.

Product and day-to-day work.

Tax Workflow gives the tax team a record of jobs, assigned people, missing items and completed stages. Close Review gives the reviewer a file organized by accounting cycle, with balances, support, commentary and proposed adjustments.

Start from the handover that needs attention. The features page helps you find its detailed workflow, and the solutions page places the work in the context of your firm or client.

Returns, estimates and recurring work.

The team follows return preparation through the checklist and records signature, payment and e-file stages when the events occur. Estimated Tax follows its own approved baseline and installment sequence. Monthly and quarterly tasks use a recurring work register.

These records help the firm explain progress. Read the taxpayer, year, jurisdiction and assigned people before discussing a next action. The related guides provide the separate tax context when a rule needs examination.

QuickBooks data and review decisions.

The QuickBooks connection supplies the accounting data. The reviewer checks the period, explains differences and ties balances to support. Commentary and proposed adjustments belong to the review file, and the professional approves the cycle.

A completed workpaper can be exported to Excel for handover. The subsidiary reporting page explains how group finance can read the evidence and agree its reporting expectations with the firm.

People, hours and data.

Job WIP values the hours recorded on the job using the relevant position rates and compares them with budget. The team reviews those inputs alongside its time records and capacity to understand where work needs attention.

Professional decisions remain human. AI processing runs in the US only, with no retention or training under the provider's written commitment. The security page provides the product's approach; the questionnaire supports a more detailed discussion.

A demo starts from your firm's work.

Describe the team, the client type and the first process you would improve. We show Tax Workflow, Close Review or both on sample data. Firms that fit join the pilot with hands-on onboarding and a direct line to the product team.

You can also ask a product question or request the security questionnaire. Use the topic that matches the discussion and keep your initial information fictitious, with no client data.

Common questions

What is TAXFINAI designed to organize?

The work around US tax returns and QuickBooks close reviews: jobs, responsible people, checklists, recorded stages, supporting balances and reviewed workpapers. Tax Workflow and Close Review are the two workspaces.

Can we begin with one workspace?

Yes. Choose Tax Workflow for tax coordination or Close Review for QuickBooks reviews. The first demonstration can focus on the work you want to improve.

Which return jobs can we follow?

1065, 1120-S, 1120, 1040, 1040-NR and Form 5472, each with the checklist for its return type. The professional determines the filing requirement from the taxpayer's situation.

Where are returns prepared and e-filed?

In the firm's usual tax software. TAXFINAI records the job's progress, including Prepared, Sent, Signed, Paid and E-filed stages.

How does estimated tax follow-up work?

The preparer builds a baseline and a manager approves it, creating Q1–Q4 installments. Payments made through the relevant tools are recorded, and the remaining amounts are recalculated.

Which recurring frequencies are used?

Monthly and quarterly. Each task has a responsible person and a working status, with its next occurrence generated by the recurrence rule.

What information is behind WIP?

The hours recorded on the job, the relevant position rates and its budget. The WIP view compares the valued total with the budget, helping the manager discuss the explanation and next action.

What data come from QuickBooks Online?

The chart of accounts, balance sheet, monthly P&L, general ledger and customer and supplier agings. Close Review organizes these accounting data for the period's review.

How are adjusting entries handled?

Proposed adjusting entries are listed in the workpaper for your team to post through its accounting process. The reviewer then works from the relevant updated accounting source.

Who reviews AI-prepared work?

Your professional reviewer. AI can prepare the full close in autonomous mode or assist with analysis and commentary. Nothing it prepares is final until the professional has examined and approved the work.

What is the AI data treatment?

Requests run in the US only, with no data retention or model training under the provider's written commitment. Only approved models are used. Read Security and trust, or request the questionnaire for a detailed discussion.

Which changes are recorded in the audit log?

Changes to jobs, team, checklists, rates and review worksheets, including who changed what and when, with before and after values.

Can the team work in English and French?

Yes. Each user chooses the interface language. Tax Workflow working statuses and signature labels stay in English in the French interface.

Can we import the current jobs?

Yes, through CSV import with a preview before confirmation. Use sample data to inspect the client, form and responsibility information during evaluation.

What is handed over after a review?

An Excel workpaper including the summary, balance sheet, P&L, proposed adjusting entries and a schedule for each cycle, with the supporting attachments.

How is pricing discussed?

Pricing is defined with the pilot firms. Describe the workflow and firm in a demo request so we can discuss what fits your situation.

Can I request information without a demo?

Yes. Choose Product question or Security questionnaire in the request topic. You can start from the information your team needs to evaluate the workflow.
